DJI Mavic 3 vs Hong Kong: Cyber Punk City
The DJI Mavic 3 received a lot of criticism shortly after its launch. For example, many important features were absent, there were many complaints about the operation via DJI Pilot, and there were grievances about the telephoto lens.
However, in terms of image quality, the drone manages to impress right from the start, even in low light. The Drone Video Mavic 3 vs Hong Kong: Cyber Punk City also proves this, made by drone pilot and photographer Tibor B, who lives in the metropolis himself.
DJI Mavic 3 shines in low light
Tibor B used a DJI Mavic 3 to shoot this beautiful aerial video of the city of Hong Kong. The video opens with a beautiful shot from above the Central Business District on Hong Kong Island, flying toward the Kowloon Peninsula. Then follows a nice view of Central Plaza, the tallest skyscraper in Asia when it was completed in 1992. Other highlights include the International Finance Center, a container terminal, the Bank of China building, and more.
“After initially having some mixed feelings about the Mavic 3, I finally got to grips with it and understand its shortcomings. This kind of low-light, high-dynamic-range shooting pushes the drone to its limits. I also think the telephoto lens, which has often been labeled ‘unusable', offers some great new creative possibilities.”
