DJI Matrice 300 RTK successor to be revealed on May 18, at 9 am EDT

The successor of the DJI Matrice 300 RTK, possibly called the DJI Matrice 350 RTK will be revealed on May 18, at 9 am EDT according to a tweet that was sent out this morning by Chinese drone maker DJI.

The announcement is accompanied by a short video clip, showing the silhouette of a dimly lit DJI Matrice 300 or 350. Halfway through the clip two sets of battery LEDs light up and the phrase, “Powered to Forge Ahead,” shows up as well as the logo and the May 18, 9 am EDT date and time.

Not much is known in terms of specs at this point in time, which is somewhat unusual since it is so close to the release date. Typically, more information leaks through the DJI reseller network. We will reach out to our trusted sources to see if we can dig up any additional information of the RTK successor.

This ain't it

In the meantime, DealsDrone also shared these photos on Twitter showing what might be another DJI Enterprise drone. However, it does not share any resemblance to the DJI M300 RTK, and to be honest we are not sure this is a real DJI Product. Even though the drone does show many of the DJI signature features, such as the obstacle avoidance sensors, this might well be a Photoshopped DJI drone. Also, note the unusually shaped batteries.
