Last night, a Lancashire Polizeidrohne located a lost Pendle Hill walker in the UK. The drone outfitted with a thermal camera was able to spot the missing person.

The Lancashire Polizei Tactical Opps drone team supplied the device to Burnley officers who used the drone with a thermal camera to scan the hills in search of the woman who had been lost.

The drone located the missing Pendle Hill walker waiting on a wall. The police officers were notified to her exact location as they approached by sheep that were running off, alerting officers to the woman’s position, according to the news outlet This Is Lancashire.
