FAA drone registration and how to register your drone in 2021

In this video, I, Greg Reverdiau from the Pilot-Institut, walk you through registering your drone for both recreational use and commercial use. The video also covers the scams to watch out for and what your FAA drone registration covers. I also cover finding your drone’s serial number, Entfernte ID, and how long your drone’s registration is valid.

DroneZone Invalid Serial Number

You may get an “Invalid Serial number” error if you check “YES” to your aircraft having Entfernte ID. At this time (July 2021) there are no accepted Remote ID DOC/MOC. To solve this issue check the “No” box and continue your registration.
