Enhanced Night Operations and Safety Features

The M4 Series makes substantial improvements to low-light performance, incorporating six high-definition fisheye lenses for enhanced visual positioning in challenging conditions. This system enables autonomous obstacle avoidance and safe navigation in urban environments, even in poor visibility conditions.

DJI has also addressed concerns, housing all server operations on ISO 27001-certified AWS infrastructure in the . The Local Data Mode feature allows operators to completely disconnect from internet connectivity during sensitive missions, while all personal data utilizes AES-256 encryption.

Enhanced Operational Accessories

The M4 Series introduces significant upgrades to its accessory ecosystem. The DJI AS1 Speaker system pushes the boundaries of aerial broadcasting, achieving 114 decibels at 3.3 feet and maintaining clarity up to 984 feet away. This capability proves particularly valuable for emergency response scenarios and crowd management operations.

The D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station represents a crucial advancement in precision operations, providing centimeter-level positioning accuracy while enabling reliable data collection in areas without network coverage. The station’s ability to relay signals at elevated altitudes and mark ground control points enhances both mapping accuracy and operational flexibility.

Rapid Response Capabilities

In emergency scenarios, the M4 Series demonstrates remarkable agility with its 15-second deployment time from power-up to takeoff. The drones maintain operational reliability even in GNSS-denied environments, utilizing visual positioning technology to update return-to-home points. When connected to the internet, the system can pre-download terrain obstacle data and detailed offline maps, enabling autonomous navigation through challenging environments including nighttime operations and complex mountainous terrain.
