UK Police use a drone in their search for the 74-year-old, missing man from Aberdeen, Robin Green. Mr. Green was last seen around 2:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon. #dronesforgood

Police use drone in search for missing 74-year-old man

Mr. Green was last seen along B976 at the Mill of Strachan area around 2:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon. Police think he might have walked there from Banchory.

According to The Press and Journal, inspector Chris Kerr, from North East Community Policing, said: “We remain concerned for Robin’s welfare and as he is known to travel to the Deeside area, we have been focusing our Specialist search activity there, including use of a remote piloted aircraft system.

“I am appealing to anyone who has been traveling along the B976 in the last 48 hours that has a dash-cam to please check back and see if there is any footage of a person matching Robin’s description that may be of use to us.”

Hopefully, with the help of the drone the police will be able to locate the man quickly.
