Autel to launch new products during CES 2021
In a post on Instagram, Autel Robotics says, “New Year. New Products.”. The post continues to say, “Join us at CES 2021 for the full unveiling,” and shows the date of January 12th, 2021. We wonder what new products Autel will be launching at CES 2021.
Autel to launch new products during CES 2021
About one week ago, Autel introduced Autel Robotics Care, which is a service and replacement support system for Autel drones starting at $149 for one year of coverage, which includes free shipping of your damaged drone and up to two replacements. This new service was announced in a post on Instagram.
In a subsequent post on the photo-sharing app, Autel announced that the company will be launching new products in this new year. Yes, plural. The new Autel products are scheduled to be launched on January 12, 2021, and will be shown from 7 am to 8 pm EST.
The new Autel products will be showcased here: https://digital.ces.tech/exhibitor/876e991a-d25c-4183-8407-e41d0b17514b although it seems that hit slink is not active yet. Check back on January 12th at 7 am.
In the comments on Instagram, some people are hoping for an EVO Mini 2 drone, which would be nice for sure. Others are wishing that Autel would release a new ground control station with an extra bright screen, or simply add panoramas to the Autel Explorer app and get rid of some other bugs.
We’re excited to see Autel come out with new products at CES although we are not quite sure what to expect. DJI had been rumored to launch their DJI FPV drone at the consumer electronics event, but while we know that some pilots have test units in hand, we have not yet received any official press info from DJI, so a CES launch seems unlikely at this point in time.
