DJI Goggles 2 / Integra Now Compatible With Mini 3 Pro & Mavic 3 Series – How To Connect

Hi folks, Shawn here from Air Photography. So, just a quick little video for you, basically just a heads up for those of you who have been waiting for compatibility with the Goggles 2 or the new Lunettes de protection Integra with your Mini 3 Pro or your Mavic series. As of this morning, they are now compatible, including the new Motion 2.
Now, I still have some more testing to do. I’m actually going to go for a test flight after I’m done with this video, but as of what I can see right now, you can only fly it with the goggles in conjunction with the Motion 2. It doesn’t work with the controller. I have to do some more testing, but I couldn’t get it to work. It just kept giving me a message to connect the Motion 2.
I’ve already connected everything to my DJI Mavic 3. So, in this video, we’re just going to connect it to the DJI Mini 3. I’ll just run you through those steps quickly, and then I’m going to go out later, and we’ll do a test flight just to see how it works with the motion controller and the goggles.
Now, I’m not going to go over all the firmware version numbers because there’s firmware for everything. If you have the Goggles 2, you’re going to want to update the firmware. If you have the Integra goggles, again, you’re going to want to update it.
There’s an update for the Motion 2, for the Mini 3, and of course, the Mavic 3 series and all the controllers. The app has also been updated, so make sure you get everything updated before you try and connect it.

So, what we’re going to do here is power on the drone, and then we’re going to go ahead and power on the goggles. This works the same way whether you’re using the Integra goggles or the Goggles 2. We’ll get these linked first, and then we’ll link the motion controller after.
So, I’m going to go ahead here and put on the goggles just so I can see what I’m doing, and I’ll put a screen recording on the screen as well, showing you what I’m doing.
Connecting to the DJI Mini 3
The first thing we’re going to do is bring up our side setting menu, and from there, we’re going to click on “status”. What we’re going to do is go to switch. Your goggles might be on the DJI Avata, or the O3 air unit, but what we want to do is select “switch”.
As you can see now, we have all the different Mavic series: Mavic 3 Classic, Mavic 3 Pro, Mavic 3et le Mini 3 Pro. So, we’re going to select the Mini 3 Pro, and we will select “switch”.

Now, it takes about 20 seconds, 30 seconds, maybe a little less for it to switch over. So, now that we have the Integra Goggles in the flight mode for the Mini 3, what we’re going to do is pair the goggles to the drone. We have to put both units into pairing mode, and it’s a little bit different on the Integra goggles.
To put the Lunettes de protection Integra into pairing mode, we’re going to press and hold the power button. If you have the Goggles 2, the pairing button is right there in the middle. Again, you’re just going to press and hold. So, let’s go ahead here. I’ll start by putting the goggles into pairing mode. You can hear it beeping, and then we’re going to put the drone into pairing mode again. We’re just going to press and hold the power button, and you can hear it beep. Once you get that confirmation beep, then you know they’re paired.
At this point, if you look through the goggles, you should now have a video feed. And I don’t know if you can see that there, but indeed, I do have a video feed. But now, at this point, we have to pair the controller. So, we’re going to do the same thing. We’re going to put both into pairing mode.
So, what we’re going to do is power on the Motion Controller 2, or the Motion 2, I should say. And once it’s powered on, we’re going to press and hold the power button. So, this is now in pairing mode.
And again, we’re going to push the power button on the drone again to put it back into pairing mode, and they should go ahead and connect. And there we go! You can hear that kind of beeping noise. That means that they’ve connected.
So, at this point, we can go ahead and fly the Mini 3 just like we do with the Avata with the motion controller. We can do a double-press on the red button there. That’s going to start the motors, and we can press and hold that will launch it. We are ready to go out and fly.
So, again, this is just a quick heads-up video, just a quick tutorial on how to connect everything. But anyways, if this is something you’re interested in, and you want to know a bit more, make sure you stay tuned because I’m going to go for a test flight shortly, and I’m going to record that, and I’ll upload that video later today or tomorrow morning.
Hopefully, you found this video informative. Thanks a lot for watching, and we’ll see you in the next one.
