Pologne just got its final delivery of TB2 drones from Turkey‘s Baykar, wrapping up a deal worth $270 million for 24 combat drones. On May 16, the final shipment was completed during an event in Poland. The ceremony featured prominent figures such as Poland’s deputy defense minister, the head of Turkey’s Presidency of Defence Industries agency, and Baykar’s general manager, Haluk Bayraktar.

A First for Turkey

Haluk Bayraktar took to social media to express pride in this accomplishment, stating, “We delivered the last system of our Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs to Poland. Thus, for the first time in Turkey’s history, we have successfully completed the export of high-tech UCAVs to both a NATO and EU member country.”

This delivery not only strengthens Poland’s defense but also marks a significant achievement for Turkey in the international defense market.
