Image divulguée : Nouveau drone DJI Air 4 ?
A recently leaked image by long-time DJI leaker Jasper Ellens has sparked speculation about the next iteration in the DJI Air drone series. The photo, shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), shows what appears to be a new DJI drone, possibly the DJI Air 3S or Air 4, although the poor resolution makes it difficult to confirm the exact model.
Possible DJI Air 3S or DJI Air 4
Based on the refresh cycle of DJI’s drone series, it is more likely that this leaked image showcases a DJI Air 3S or a DJI Air 4 drone rather than a new Mavic model. The Mavic series typically has a slower refresh cycle compared to the Air series.
Potential August 1 Release Date
Jasper Ellens has speculated that the release date for this new drone could be as early as August 1. However, without official confirmation from DJI, it is hard to know for sure.
Compact Design and Advanced Features
The leaked image shows a drone in a folded position, suggesting a compact and portable design similar to previous DJI Air models. The drone appears to have a camera setup resembling the DJI Mavic 3 Pro, hinting at advanced imaging capabilities such as a triple lens or triple camera system. There is also speculation about the possibility of a larger sensor, which would further enhance the drone’s photographic and video performance.
As we await more information from DJI, drone enthusiasts and industry experts will undoubtedly continue to analyze this leaked image for additional clues about the upcoming release. Stay tuned to DroneXL for the latest Rumeurs DJI, and official announcements.
DroneXL’s Take
The potential release of a new DJI Air drone is exciting news for the drone community. If the leaked image is indeed the DJI Air 3S or DJI Air 4, it could bring significant improvements in terms of camera quality, flight performance, and overall user experience.
Two possible scenarios that would fit with what DJI has done in the past would be:
- a new DJI Air drone with the triple camera set up from the DJI Mavic 3 Pro or,
- a new DJI Air drone with a dual camera set up with a larger sensor.
DJI has consistently pushed the boundaries of consumer Technologie des drones, and this new addition to the Air series could be another game-changer in the market.
We are eager to see what DJI has in store for us and how this new drone will shape the future of aerial photography and videography.

comparing it to the side folded view to this image of a air 3 https://i.pcmag.com/imagery/reviews/01PMy3f47FyWJQud7VlzrQo-16..v1690907254.jpg. id say its most certainly a image of a air 3s witch if they follow the pattern of the air 2 the s version came out 1 year and one month after the air2 so that means we should assume to see a air3s in august or September. looks to have the Mavic 3 original duel camera attached to it nose is it possible well see a air 3s with a micro 4/3 senser? THAT WOULD BE INTERESTING, more so to see what they then do with the Mavic 4. possible swappable cameras? i hope so. cmos? maybe. never the less dji just keeps rising the bar on what’s possible and not slowing down for others to catch up.
https://i.pcmag.com/imagery/reviews/01PMy3f47FyWJQud7VlzrQo-16..v1690907254.jpg defiantly the air 3 air frame with a upward looking Mavic 3 dual senser camera.
