More photos and first specs of the DJI Avata Cinewhoop drone

Over the course of the weekend, several photographs of the unreleased DJI Avata Cinewhoop drone were uploaded to the internet and shared with the public. Now, we are familiar with the new DJI drone thanks to the FCC filings, various photographs, and even a video of the new DJI drone.

At this point, the cinewhoop drone’s entire specifications, release date, and the price are the only things left for us to look forward to.

Over the course of the weekend, we came across this picture and a few of the first specifications being published online. Let’s take a more in-depth look.

With the DJI Goggles 2 and Motion Controller, the DJI Avata promises to provide an immersive flying experience. The new DJI cinewhoop drone can also be operated by a remote controller similar to the .

The drone, although not weighing less than 250 grams, will be compact and agile. The DJI Avata is around the size of your hand. The drone has propeller guards as part of the design.

In the photo, we see the DJI Avata cinewhoop drone, the DJI Goggles 2, the , the DJI Remote Controller, and an additional battery. The photo seems deliberately leaked to show all the components of the drone without giving away any identifying information.

The DJI Avata will transmit HD video with low latency. On Twitter, NGDrone and DealsDrone shared the information.

It seems reasonable to expect you’d be able to buy the DJI Avata with or without the DJI Goggles 2 and/or the DJI Motion Controller.
