The news about people leaving DJI voluntarily or otherwise is not over on this Friday afternoon. We just learned that DJI’s Head of US Research & Development, Hai Vo has decided to leave the drone maker and return home to Vietnam.

DJI’s Head of US Research and Development is voluntarily leaving the world’s largest drone maker.

Hai Vo used to work as a Senior Android Developer & Engineer Manager before becoming the Head of US Research and Development almost two years ago. Vo worked in the DJI offices in Palo Alto and is now returning home.

This news comes to us from a DJI insider and has been confirmed by the drone maker. No additional official information was provided.

Earlier today we reported that DJI’s entire video production team in Los Angeles had been fired as it appears that the company’s Long March reforms have not yet been concluded.
