South Korean Professors to Train Drone Experts in Kazakhstan

South Korean professors will soon be training personnel for Kazakhstan’s . This development was announced during the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Construction delegation’s recent visit to , as reported by the Astana Times.

Expansion of Drone Industry Education

Currently, Kazakhstan has only two universities with drone industry departments. However, with the help of a South Korean university, another department is set to open soon. This initiative aims to boost Kazakhstan’s capabilities in the rapidly growing drone sector.

South Korean Programs and Local Partnerships

Kazakh Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction Azamat Beispekov highlighted that the South Korean academy offers specialized programs for both high school students and industry professionals.

“We will train specialists using these programs. Representatives of the university will visit Kazakh technical universities and choose partners among them,” said Beispekov.

This collaboration signifies a significant step forward in equipping Kazakh professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge.

In addition to educational programs, there is a readiness from both South Korean and Turkish entities to transfer technologies and competencies for drone production to Kazakhstan. This move is expected to enhance local production capabilities and foster innovation within the Kazakh drone industry.
