DJI Mavic 3 detailed drawings – Air 2S possibly gets a 1-inch sensor

It has been one week since this DJI Mavic 3 sketch appeared on Chinese social media. However, our source did not think it was clear enough. today he provided us with DJI Mavic 3 detailed drawings, a new timeline, and a DJI Air 2S scoop.
DJI Mavic 3 detailed drawings – Air 2S possibly gets a 1-inch sensor
The new pictures show a highly detailed rear view of the Mavic 3. What surprises us most is the all-new design of the backend of the drone. We can clearly see the new double air scoops on the sides, providing fresh air to cool off the battery.
Underneath the top shell, we see what appears to be a very big and long battery. This will hopefully provide the new DJI Mavic 3 with at least 30 minutes of flight time.
The upward-facing obstacle avoidance sensors appear to be missing in the provided sketches. We are confident that the Mavic 3 will have obstacle avoidance in all six directions. We will have to wait and see what the final location of the upward-facing sensors will be.
When will we see the DJI Mavic 3 or Air 2S?
Our source had new intel that the Mavic 3 on this very moment has entered the first production stage! They are expecting news in 2 or 3 months. Does this have something to do with another drone that has finished production, the DJI Air 2S?
Speaking of the Air 2S… reliable sources informed us this new DJI Mavic Air 2 successor will NOT have an IMX686 sensor. Our source swore that the DJI Air 2S instead will have a 1-inch sensor after all! This is great news as it will provide the drone with better low-light capabilities and higher resolution video recording and photography capabilities.
Waiting on DJI Air2S pictures!
Rumors are nice and all, and we CONFIANÇA our sources as they appear to be correct again and again. However, rumors are only worth mentioning when they get confirmation. We would like to show you some pictures, but today we learned the official Air 2S registrations have been delayed by at least 10 days because of the COVID-19 situation. We expect to receive more information and photos around April 12th, so stay tuned!

[…] le très informé site DroneXL nous informe que se serait finalement un capteur de 1″ qui serait embarqué sur ce drone ! […]
Unless the mavic 3 has a bigger then 1 inch sensor, it makes absolutely no sense to equip the air 2s with a 1 inch sensor, in fact, how would it even fit on the air 2s? It is rumouredtohzve the same size body as the air 2, can you really seethe gimbal from the 2 pro fixed on to an air 2 sized airframe, it would look ridiculous and out of proportion, not to mention the fact that even the mavic 2 pro did not have a full 1″ sensor, it was slightly shorter, an upgraded smartphone sensor in air 2s makes more sense in almost every way unless mavic3 goes bigger
Hopefully, we will find out soon and see who’s right. 😉
Ummmm you are kidding right??? According to this drawing, 75% or more of this drone is just battery. Look at it. It is a battery with a little plastic around it. Where are all of the electronics? And in this drawing, the entire backside is battery. So what, no rear sensor? Ummm again I am calling BS based on this drawing. It make no sense whatsoever.
