Aerorozvidka receives funding from both the Ukrainian Department of Defense as well as the general public.
Drones play big role in Ukraine – Russia conflict
Drones, varying from large military aircraft, to highly customized drones, to off-the-shelf DJI and Autel drones, have played a large role in the ability of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to defend the country against the Russian invasion.
During the conflict, Ucrânia has used drones to monitor Russian troop movements, provide GPS coordinates on enemy positions, help guide artillery, chase Russian soldiers, drop grenades on the Russian invaders when they sleep, stop Russian military convoys, distract the enemy, show the destructione document war crimes.
A little over a week ago, the Ukrainian army received 16 thermal drones as part of a donation from Blue-Yellow, a non-governmental organization based in Lithuania that has supported the armed resistance in Ucrânia since 2014.
