DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise (M3E & M3T) more detail leaked ahead of tomorrow’s launch

More details and images have surfaced online a day before the newly-announced unveiling of the Mavic 3 Enterprise series. We have received more information regarding the Mavic 3 ‘s camera, among other things.

Last week, a first teaser was released, giving us an official release date for the Mavic 3 Enterprise Series (M3E): September 27, 2022.

O Mavic 3 Enterprise is the successor to the current Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced, which has been part of ‘s offering since December 2020.

Mavic 3 Enterprise Thermal camera details leaked

Early speculation suggested that two separate Enterprise versions would be based on the Mavic 3. Some new photographs and screenshots again highlight this fact after DJI’s official launch teaser, which also displays two separate drones.

As you can see in the official Enterprise announcement from DJI, the reflected image shows a different camera!

The Twitter account NGDrone has now posted multiple photographs and screenshots from the new Enterprise universe. As a result, one drone will be known as the M3E and the other as the M3T (T for thermal imaging camera).

The terms Mavic 3 Enterprise and Mavic 3 Thermal are spelled out on some labels captured and uploaded by Ahmed DJI.

Some camera details are provided from the thermal model. One of the cameras will have a focal length of 4 mm (not 35 mm equivalent) and an aperture of f/2.8. According to the screenshot, the maximum picture resolution of this camera is 14400 x 7200 pixels.

The thermal imaging camera will offer 640 x 512 pixels, which is not surprising and is comparable to other modern thermal cameras.

We are not sure if these are all the components, as it seems like not the entire manual was shared online.
