DJI Mini 3 with DJI RC for sale for $859.99 at Best Buy

Surprise, surprise. The not-yet-released DJI Mini 3 with the DJI RC is for sale for $859.99 at Best Buy in Nova Jersey. It is almost ridiculous at this point.

Every time a new DJI drone is about to be released, a Best Buy store somewhere in the country will sell the DJI product ahead of time or at least have it on display.

This time it is a Best Buy in New Jersey that confirms that the DJI Mini 3 will indeed be released very soon. The information was shared on Twitter by Shane Scordamaglia. Much appreciated, Shane!

The dressed-down DJI Mini 3 Pro drone is on the shelves for a retail price of $859.99 with the impressive DJI RC remote controller with a built-in display.

O DJI Mini 3 will weigh less than 250 grams and, therefore, does not require you to register the mini drone with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) if you only fly the drone recreationally.

However, as soon as you start to use the DJI Mini 3 drone for commercial purposes, you will need to register the unmanned aircraft with the FAA and get your Part 107 certificate. Como OsitaLV mentioned in a tweet, the DJI Mini 3 is the same as the Mini 3 Pro with the “horizontal obstacle sensors removed, downward stereo reduced to mono, price slashed, “Pro” disappeared, that’s all”.

That indeed seems to be the case.
