On social media and YouTube, many photos and videos have been shared of the ominous-looking, orange skies over San Francisco and the Bay Area. The orange glow is the result of the thick smoke from the raging wildfires in Каліфорнія blocking the sunlight.
“Extremely dense & tall smoke plumes from numerous large wildfires, some of which have been generating nocturnal pyrocumulunimbus clouds (‘fire thunderstorms), are almost completely blocking out the sun across some portions of Northern California this morning,” UCLA climate scientist Daniel Swain shared on Twitter.
SF Gate reported earlier today that most of the smoke was high in the atmosphere with air quality at ground level ranging from moderate to quite good.

IMO: This site should not post any drone footage that was captured contrary to Part 107 rules. Period. It sends the wrong message.
