DJI Pocket 4 Packaging Leak Confirms Every Spec Buyers Were Hoping For

Retail packaging photos of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Creator Combo have surfaced showing the full spec sheet printed on the box, as The New Camera first reported. The image, shared by OsitaLV, reveals a 1-inch sensor with 14 stops of dynamic range, 107GB of built-in storage, 2x lossless zoom, and 4-channel audio output. These are not rumors pulled from Telegram groups or Reddit speculation threads. They are printed on the final retail box, sitting in a warehouse, waiting for a launch date.

Multiple sources now point to April 20 as the global launch date. Portuguese DJI enthusiast account Xdrones Studio (@D2Help) on X compiled the spec list from packaging photos and earlier leaks, though D2Help also questioned whether the standard Pocket 4 offers enough over a Pocket 3 firmware update to justify a new product. Colombian authorized dealer DroneTechx has been running a full pre-sale campaign pointing to April 20. Either way, the Pocket 4 is days away.

The spec sheet reads like a wish list that DJI actually delivered

The packaging confirms a 1-inch CMOS sensor paired with 14 stops of dynamic range, a bump that should produce noticeably better results in high-contrast lighting and indoor scenarios where the Pocket 3 sometimes struggled.

The 2x lossless zoom is new hardware. Previous Pocket models offered digital zoom that degraded image quality immediately. DJI’s packaging describes this as lossless, meaning no resolution penalty when punching in, with dedicated physical zoom controls on the body.

ActiveTrack 7.0 arrives from the Osmo Mobile 7 series with improved face, pet, and object tracking. The 3-axis mechanical stabilization returns unchanged. It was already the best in its class.

Audio gets a jump to OsmoAudio 4-channel output, replacing the stereo recording of the Pocket 3 and its three-microphone array. Combined with 10-bit D-Log color support, the Pocket 4 feels less like a casual vlogging tool and more like a genuine B-camera for production work.

One spec worth flagging: D2Help’s summary claims “up to 6K/60fps,” but that resolution does not appear on the retail packaging. The box confirms 10-bit D-Log and the 1-inch sensor but stays silent on maximum resolution. Earlier leaks suggested 4K/120fps for the standard model, with 6K possibly reserved for the Pro. A leaked promotional banner also lists “Active Track 6.0” rather than 7.0, contradicting the packaging. The box wins that one.

107GB of built-in storage eliminates the microSD bottleneck

The biggest surprise on the box is 107GB of internal storage with transfer speeds up to 800MB/s. The Pocket 3 relied entirely on external microSD cards. With over 100GB built in, most users can shoot an entire day without worrying about storage.

The Creator Combo box lists a fill light, wide-angle lens, wireless microphone transmitter, magnetic clip, mini tripod, and USB-C 3.1 cable among other accessories. The Malaysia hands-on footage we covered in February already showed an integrated LED light on the camera body, and the packaging confirms a separate fill light ships with the Creator Combo as well.

Pricing holds at $499 for the base model

Leaked pricing clusters around $499 to $599 for the standard Pocket 4 and $649 to $749 for the Creator Combo. If DJI holds the base at $499, matching the Pocket 3’s current retail price, that is aggressive given the upgrades.

For US buyers, the standard Pocket 4 received FCC certification before the December 22, 2025, Covered List deadline, meaning it should be available through normal retail channels. The Pocket 4 Pro, a dual-camera model with its own FCC ID (2ANDR PP041), received approval on December 22. Whether the Pro makes it to US shelves remains unclear given the ongoing DJI lawsuit against the FCC.

The leak trail is now overwhelming

The Pocket 4 has been leaking since Jasper Ellens found prototype images in September 2025. We have since covered FCC filings, retail box leaks, hands-on footage from Malaysia, and the Quick Start Guide. Now we have printed specs on retail packaging, authorized dealers running pre-sale campaigns, and what appears to be a DJI marketing image of the camera already circulating. DJI has not said a word. The silence is the loudest confirmation.

DroneXL’s Take

I’ve been covering the Pocket 4 leak cycle since Jasper first sent me those prototype images last September. What stands out is how closely the confirmed specs match what the FCC filings suggested months ago. DJI built exactly what the leaks predicted, which tells me the product was locked down long before the December FCC deadline created urgency around US availability.

The 107GB of internal storage is the spec that matters most for daily shooters. Anyone who has lost footage to a corrupted microSD card understands why. Combined with the 2x lossless zoom and 14-stop dynamic range, the Pocket 4 addresses the three most common Pocket 3 complaints without inflating the price.

The Insta360 Luna is still waiting in the wings with its dual-camera design, but if DJI ships at $499 on April 20, Luna will need to launch cheaper or with clearly superior image quality to make a dent. By the end of Q2 2026, DJI will have sold enough Pocket 4 units to own this category for another product cycle.
