Frequently asked questions
What is the latest DJI news today?
The feed on this page is ordered newest first, so the top entry is the most recent DJI story we have published. DJI moves in bursts — a launch week can carry several stories a day, while a quiet stretch between releases runs to one or two.
Where can I follow DJI rumors and leaks specifically?
The DJI Rumors page collects the leaks, regulatory filings, retail box photographs and price lists separately, and says which class of source each one comes from. Those stories appear in this feed too — the rumors page is the filtered view.
Is DJI banned in the United States?
Not banned outright, and the drone you already own is not grounded. The 2025 NDAA gave a national security agency one year to audit DJI's equipment; none did, and the default consequence took effect, putting foreign-made drones on the FCC Covered List in December 2025. That restricts new equipment authorizations, importation and marketing rather than flight. Firmware and security updates for aircraft authorized before that date are protected until at least January 1, 2029 under FCC Public Notice DA 26-454.
