Scope of work
Lone Star Energy operates a 200-acre solar PV farm in Kinney County, Texas. We're commissioning a full thermal + RGB inspection ahead of our Q3 maintenance window. Deliverable is a panel-level hotspot map plus a high-res ortho-mosaic of the full site.
This is our third year using contracted aerial inspection. We expect a clean, professional turnaround — not a one-off side gig.

Deliverables expected
- Panel-level hotspot CSV with GPS coords + thermal delta
- Full-site ortho-mosaic, 5cm/pixel
- IR + RGB JPEGs of all flagged anomalies (≥5°C delta)
- Flight logs & pilot certifications
- Client login link or shared Drive folder — we pull, we don't push
Requirements
- Part 107 + BVLOS waiver (we'll request copies before contract)
- Insurance ≥$1M public liability
- Drone with radiometric thermal payload (FLIR Boson 640 or equivalent)
- RTK capability (sub-3cm GPS)
- Prior solar PV experience — 3+ comparable projects
- Bilingual (EN/ES) a plus — site crew is mostly Spanish-speaking

- We'll shortlist 3 DSPs and run a 15-min Zoom with each
- Contract awarded within 7 days of bid close
- 20% deposit via DroneXL escrow on signing, 80% on delivery
