Drones at Augusta National show the Masters like never before
This year it’s the first time ever that The Masters is being held in November and the changing of the leaves provides an amazing backdrop to the Augusta National Golf Club. Also for the first time, this year is the fact that drones are used to capture the beauty of the event. Based on the reactions on social media, the fans are loving it.
“Thanks to our friends at CBS Sports, we will debut a few technologies new to Augusta National, including a fly cam on the 16th hole and two drones providing sweeping aerial views never before seen during live Masters telecasts,” Augusta National Golf Club Chairman Fred T. Ridley said during his annual news conference on Wednesday, reports GolfWeek.
Here are some of the shots that were captured with drones at the Augusta National Golf Club. Enjoy.
