Drone solutions provider Volatus Aerospace has started to deliver intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (“ISR”) unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), which include 30 thermal drones, to organizations in Ukraine.
Volatus Aerospace supplies the thermal drones to a consortium of organizations that are focused on the three critical areas of support, medical supplies, non-lethal military equipment, and assistance to displaced persons.
In addition to the ISR unmanned aircraft, Volatus is providing anti-drone systems and training.
Volatus has made initial deliveries to humanitarian groups such as Mriya Aid and the Second Front Ukraine Foundation, a Canadian not-for-profit corporation working with trusted partners across North America and in Ukraine to provide supplies that will save Ukrainians’ lives during Russian aggression.
“We are honored and proud to support Second Front, Mriya Aid, and others,” Volatus CEO, Glen Lynch, commented. “This technology provides accurate real-time intelligence while reducing risk to the people who have chosen to serve, and, as recent videos have highlighted, civilians who are at significant risk.”
The company is prepared to continue to support these organizations as the need for drones arises.
