DJI has not only repositioned the controls but also added an extra rotary wheel on the left side of the enclosure. This should allow for fine zoom and focus changes. DJI describes the use of the side wheel as straightforward and uncomplicated.

As previously, 3-axis stabilization is included, and due to ActiveTrack 5.0, the subject should always be tracked from a distance and presented in the center of the image, even if it is spinning.

Aside from that, the cosmetic changes are minor, with DJI replacing the battery level indication with a black stripe below the gimbal arm mount, along with the button to convert to manual mode.

The Mobile 6's battery has a capacity of 1000 mAh and is supposed to have a runtime of about 6.5 hours. The device is completely charged again in a little under 1.5 hours.

The gimbal weighs 309 grams, while the magnetic clamp weighs 31 grams, making the complete package weigh 340 grams without the smartphone. The smartphone used might weigh up to 290 grams, according to the company. The charging port for the DJI OM6 may be found on the right side of the device.

DJI OM SE

In addition to the DJI OM 6, we have product photographs of a new, substantially less expensive DJI gimbal dubbed the DJI OM SE or SE. The gadget will be sold without the retractable portion built into the OM 6 and will be advertised as a cheaper variant. You'll have to do without the zoom wheel in this case.

The DJI OM SE weighs just 352 grams. It weighs 383 grams when combined with the magnetic phone holder. The smartphone used on the gimbal may also weigh up to 290 grams.

The new DJI OM SE gimbal is much less expensive than the OM 6. According to our research, the new DJI OM 6 should cost around $179, while the less expensive new model will be available for $109 at its market debut.
