To keep the spirits up, Walmart decided to launch a drone light show this year. The all-new magical experience called the “Walmart Holiday Drone Light Show,” will come to select communities across the country. But, for those not fortunate to live close, the drone show will be live-streamed as well.
Parrot has been in the news recently for ending their consumer drone offering, going after DJI by saying that you can’t trust Chinese-made drones as part of their ANAFI USA marketing campaign, and for having their PR Firm push data security reports to the foreground that DJI says contain ‘inaccuracies and misleading statements.’ In the midst of all this, Parrot announces that they will expand their partnership with Dronisos and use the ANAFI platform to do so.
On May 5th, Liberation Day in The Netherlands, the Beating Heart drone show was organized over Rotterdam as a tribute to freedom and an appreciation to those who work day and night for the freedom and safety of others. The show was an initiative by artist duo Drift and art organization Mothership and made. possible by Stichting Droom and Daad (Dream and Action) and the city of Rotterdam. We have seen drone shows from the Drift duo before in Miami and Burning Man. The show is accompanied by piano music and is well worth watching.
After 76 days of being in lockdown, the city of Wuhan in China reopened again this morning. The unlocking of the city, where the coronavirus outbreak started, was celebrated with a massive light show that included a drone light show as well. The drone light show was organized by ZeroTech and HighGreat.
