$16,000 worth of DJI drones stolen
In a matter of seconds, thieves steal $16,000 worth of DJI drones from the DJI Store in NYC. In surveillance footage published by the NY Post, a pack of men can be seen breaking into the drone store on Times Square.
The DJI Store is located on Broadway near West 52nd Street in Midtown. According to the NYPD, the break-in occurred around 11:25 p.m. on Saturday. New York City has seen a lot of looting over the last days as thieves are taking advantage of the social unrest and protests that are taking place in the city.
Five men force their way into the DJI Store by breaking through the glass front door. The video shows them shoving through the door until it breaks and crashes to the ground. The thieves race inside and in a matter of seconds, they grab a number of drones that were on display.
As of Thursday, the thieves remain at large.
