Drone footage shows what’s left of Wendy’s restaurant that was set on fire after the death of Rayshard Brooks. The restaurant is located in Atlanta where the 27-year-old black man died after being shot in the back twice by a police officer.
Drone footage shows what’s left of Wendy’s restaurant
Rayshard Brooks was shot in the back twice after failing a sobriety test, resisting arrest, and running away while firing a Taser gun at a police officer last Friday.
On Sunday, the Atlanta police released video footage from body camera that shows the events leading up the 27-year-old black man being shot by a white police officer. Brooks died shortly after.
On Sunday, it was announced that officer Garrett Rolfe had been fired following the fatal shooting, and another officer, Devin Brosnan, had been placed on administrative duty, according to KSAT.
The Wendy’s restaurant was set on fire shortly after these events took place and this drone video shows what’s left of the building.
