Autel announces its Made-in-USA EVO II Dual Bundles – It seems there is a trend developing. First of all FreeFly Systems with their US-made drones and a new one coming! Then, of course, Skydio with their Skydio R1, then S2 and X2 drones also made in the USA. Thirdly, Parrot with its ANAFI USA assembled here in the Northeast. And, now Autel Robotics with its Made-in-USA (with foreign and domestic parts and labor) EVO II Dual Bundles. I’m not sure why they point out ‘foreign parts’ because Parrot and Skydio drones also contain foreign parts. In the name of transparency, I suppose. Anyway, here’s the latest drone news!
Auburn Police Department plans to start a drone program – Auburn Police Department in the state of New York plans to start a drone program with seized drug money, but needs to receive approval from the city council before they can go ahead and do so.
Weed dropped over Tel Aviv with high-flying drone – On Thursday, weed was dropped over Rabin Square in Tel Aviv with a high-flying drone by activists seeking to legalize the drug in Israel. The free weed was promised by the activists on social media beforehand.
Drone delays Yankees-Rays Drone delays Yankees-Rays baseball game for five minutes – A drone delayed the Yankees-Rays baseball game for five minutes after the unmanned aircraft was spotted flying over Yankee stadium.
