Today’s DAC meeting starts with a video message from Elaine L. Chao. with an update on the UAS IPP program and the virtual National Drone Safety Awareness Week that starts on November 16-22, 2020.

With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Drone Advisory Committee (DAC) has wisely decided to make tomorrow’s meeting a virtual one, using Zoom.

On the agenda are, among other things, the following:

  • Facility Maps
  • UTM
  • Low Altitude Remote ID Operations
  • A Standing Operations and Technology Subcommittee

You can find more information on the DAC meeting in this pdf here. Let us know what you think of today’s DAC meeting in the comments below.

The next DAC meeting will be early next year.
