DJI Zenmuse X7 18-33 zoom lens leaked photo shows up online
An image of what appears to be a prototype zoom lens for DJI's Zenmuse X7 camera has surfaced on Twitter. This camera is compatible with the Inspire 2 and is especially valued by high-end filmmakers and photographers because of the excellent image quality provided by the 35 mm sensor. Currently, there are only fixed focal length lenses, also known as prime lenses, available for the Zenmuse X7 camera. A zoom lens would be a welcome addition to the line-up.

The Zenmuse X7 was released around a year after the 2nd Inspire was released. For professional videographers and photographers flying a DJI Inspire 2, the camera soon became the instrument of choice. The Super 35 sensor has a dynamic range of 14 stops, records in 6K CinemaDNG and 5.2K Apple ProRes, and is very light-sensitive.
DJI developed its own lens mount for the Zenmuse X7 lenses, the DL mount. In total, DJI launched four X7 light-weight lenses, a 16, 24, 35, and 50 mm fixed focal length.
The DJI Zenmuse X7 lenses are praised for their image quality, but there is one drawback, as soon as a lens has to be changed, the drone first has to land. However, with the arrival of this new DJI Zenmuse X7 zoom lens, this might soon be a thing of the past.
The big IF here is of course is that we don't know if this new zoom lens will ever make it to the market. If it does it could be a sign that the DJI Zenmuse X7 product line up is alive and well
It would also be a sign that we can expect the Zenmuse X7 camera to continue for the next generation of DJI Inspire drones.

Cool, for X7 ? But for “picture”. Not for filming.
The new in 8K will is not in S35 ? Full frame like P1.
For film i prefer a 24-50 or 24-70mm, but the beta testers are Youtubers or others who are not in the field to make feature cinema film.
