Dozens laid off at Amazon Prime Air drone program – Dozens of R&D and manufacturing staff have been laid off at the Amazon Prime Air drone program as the company turns to third parties to get Amazon Prime Air off the ground.
DJI Mini 2 review: less drone is more fun! – At the end of 2019, DJI introduced the Mavic Mini, the first full-fledged camera drone weighing less than 250 grams. With the successor the DJI Mini 2, the Chinese dronemaker has retained all the right things from the first generation Mavic Mini and has made significant improvements on a number of fronts. As a result, the DJI Mini 2 is not only intended for novice drone pilots: especially after the introduction of European drone regulations, the Mini 2 is also interesting for professionals.
Dutch police will significantly expand drone fleet – The Dutch Police will be investing heavily in expanding its drone fleet in the coming years. The police currently have about sixty drones. In two years, there must be at least 130. The drones are increasingly being used for various applications, such as enforcement, locating missing persons, and investigating traffic accidents.
