DJI Go 4 App update – Version 4.3.40

Yesterday, DJI released a small update to their DJI Go 4 App. We are now up to Version 4.3.40 for iOS. This latest release resolves some crashing issues to improve the stability of the app. However, more importantly, it also adds Local Data Mode to the DJI Go 4 App.
DJI Go 4 App update – Version 4.3.40
DJI tells us that they have worked on and improved the following:
- Fixes crashing issues and improves app stability.
- Add local Data Mode
Back in 2017, DJI launched the Local Data Mode to stop internet traffic to and from its DJI Pilot app and now the DJI Go 4 app to provide enhanced data privacy assurances for sensitive government and enterprise customers.
“We are creating Local Data Mode to address the needs of our enterprise customers, including public and private organizations that are using DJI technology to perform sensitive operations around the world,” said Brendan Schulman, DJI’s Vice President of Policy and Legal Affairs. “DJI is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers’ photos, videos and flight logs. Local Data Mode will provide added assurances for customers with heightened data security needs.”
You should be able to update your DJI Go 4 app directly from your iOS device or smartphone.
