AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2021 will be held as hybrid event series
Last year the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) was a completely virtual event. This year the association will be holding a hybrid event series with an online-only event in the spring, to be followed by an in-person event later in the summer, assuming that the pandemic will allow for such an event to take place.
AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2021 will be held as hybrid event series
AUVSI today announced that its annual conference and trade show, AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2021, will be held as an expanded hybrid event series in 2021. After the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a virtual staging of XPONENTIAL 2020 last October, the Association plans to deliver a full virtual program this spring followed by an in-person event late in the summer. The series will support its mission to convene the unmanned and automated systems community to accelerate innovation and market adoption of the related technologies.
AUVSI XPONENTIAL is widely regarded as the most significant global unmanned systems event and features a comprehensive educational program on technology and policy developments, as well as the leading marketplace for inter and intra-industry transactions.
The series will begin May 4-6 with an immersive virtual conference, featuring live keynotes and Education, interactive roundtable discussions and networking sessions, and exhibits from leading technology companies and service providers. All sessions will be recorded and made available on-demand to attendees for 90 days following the event.
On August 16-19, the series will reconvene in-person in Atlanta for a new program of keynote speakers and educational sessions, safely facilitated networking opportunities, and an expanded XPO Hall to experience the latest technology innovations and solutions. Registrants for the in-person event will also receive access to the virtual event.
The theme of XPONENTIAL 2021 is Assured Autonomy, which refers to the process, methodology and guiding principles for ensuring unmanned and autonomous systems will be safe and practical options, able to repeatedly perform the operations they are designed for and be seamlessly integrated into society at scale. This theme supports the event's legacy of convening experts across markets and domains to advance the market for all things unmanned.
