A thermal drone helped to locate a motorcyclist after a crash early Saturday morning in Waupaca County in Wisconsin.
Thermal drone locates motorcyclist after crash
first responders from the Weyauwega Area Fire Department were called to the intersection of U.S. Highway 10 and County Highway U at around 2:41 am for a report of a motorcyclist who had collided with a deer.
When the first responders arrived at the scene of the accident, they couldn’t locate the rider. A thermal drone was used by the Weyauwega Area firefighters to help locate the motorcyclist after about 20 minutes. He was found by some large hay bales in a neighboring field.
The motorcyclist suffered severe head injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, according to Fox 11 News.
