DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced aids in search for a 3x prison escapee

How somebody is able to escape prison three times, I’m not quite sure. However, this video shows you how a DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced helps to find and capture the juvenile escape artist in Pointe Coupee.
The drone video footage was captured with the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced by fire officials from Pointe Coupee. The short clip shows the moment 16-year-old Damarion Simmons was captured by search teams.
In the past three months, Simmons was able to escape from three different juvenile facilities. He first escaped the Bridge City Center for Youth near New Orleans in November. the following month, the 16-year-old was able to get out of the Acadiana Center for Youth in Bunkie. And last week he somehow found a way out of a secure juvenile facility in St. Martinville. This kid is persistent!
“It’s akin to the legendary Frank Abagnale and Leonardo DiCaprio played ‘Catch me if you can,'” District Attorney Tony Clayton said, according to WBRZ2. “I think OJJ needs to hire this kid as a consultant maybe he needs to work for them.”
According to investigators, Simmons is responsible for running a burglary ring in Pointe Coupee Parish.
Simmons was in the custody of the Office of Juvenile Justice. Concerns were raised after his most recent escape that he might be armed with three different firearms.
“This kid is either going to get killed or kill someone,” Clayton said. “Or someone in the public is going to get hurt. At some point, someone at OJJ (Office of Juvenile Justice) needs to get the memo that this is a dangerous mix and something has to happen.”
This time, however Simmons didn’t go very far as a search team was able to apprehend him with the help of thermal drone video footage that was captured by the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced.
