A massive coordinated search operation involving over 50 drone teams is underway in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, as authorities continue their efforts to locate 3-year-old Elijah Vue, who was reported missing on February 20, 2024, reports WBAY.

Search Effort Spans Multiple Counties

The Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation has called upon agencies from Ozaukee, Green, Trempealeau, Outagamie, Sheboygan, and Oconto County to assist in the search for Elijah. The operation, which is expected to last throughout Thursday, March 28, is focusing on the East Twin River and the Charles & Winifred Spring West Twin River Preserve.

Sources have confirmed that this latest search effort is a coordinated operation and was not triggered by any new information regarding Elijah’s disappearance.

Mother and Boyfriend Face Child Neglect Charges

While the search for Elijah continues, his mother and her boyfriend are currently in jail, both facing child neglect charges. However, it is important to note that no one has been charged in connection with Elijah’s disappearance at this time.

As the search for Elijah Vue enters its second month, authorities remain determined to locate the missing 3-year-old. The deployment of 54 drone teams across multiple counties demonstrates the scale and commitment of the ongoing investigation. The community hopes that this extensive search effort will yield clues that lead to Elijah’s safe return.
