Drone Innovator Delivers Advanced Drones and Training to Women in India

In a remarkable display of commitment to empowering rural communities, Drogo Drones, continues to make strides through its involvement in the Namo Drone Didi initiative.

On Monday, the company reportedly showcased its dedication by delivering advanced drones to Namo Drone Didis and participated in the prestigious program initiated by the Hon. Prime Minister of , Shri Narendra Modi.

During the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed 1,000 drones to Namo Drone Didis from various parts of the country, who demonstrated their skills simultaneously from 10 different locations. The Prime Minister emphasized that the ‘Namo Drone Didi’ scheme will open up opportunities for women across India to learn new skills and become self-sustainable.

The Namo Drone Didi scheme, spearheaded by the Government of India, aims to empower rural women by equipping them with the necessary skills and tools to become proficient drone pilots. By integrating women into the agricultural supply chain as drone pilots, the initiative promotes economic independence and enhances the efficiency of farming practices.

As part of this initiative, Drogo Drones provided state-of-the-art drones to a group of women in Gujarat through Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GNVFCL), Ahmedabad, further promoting the adoption of in agriculture.

In collaboration with Dronelab Technologies P Ltd, Drogo Drones offered comprehensive training to the women, providing them with the requisite expertise to operate drones for agricultural purposes. Upon completion of the training, the participants were issued Remote Pilot Certificates (RPC).
