This week, as TWZ reported, a new, mysterious, twin-jet engine flying-wing drone has been spotted on the ground at the Changchun Air Show, and its appearance is sending another ripple of shock and awe through the defense world.

The drone, which bears the logo of the prestigious Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), is yet another piece of evidence of China’s massive and accelerating push to become the world leader in unmanned combat aircraft.

The new drone was spotted in Jilin province ahead of the air show’s kickoff this week. It’s a large, tailless flying wing, roughly the size of a medium fighter jet.
