DJI Mavic 4 Pro Creator Combo Drops $600 on Amazon
Check out the Best Deals on Amazon for DJI Drones today!
The DJI Mavic 4 Pro Creator Combo is on sale on Amazon right now for $3,400. That’s down from its standard $3,999 retail price, a 15 percent discount that puts $600 back in your pocket. The sale covers the full Creator Combo with the RC Pro 2 controller, not the base kit.
If you have been watching this drone since launch and waiting for the price to move, this is the first time it has moved.
Six hundred dollars is not battery money or filter money. I won’t lie to you about that. Six hundred dollars is a plane ticket. If I had this drone in my hands today, I’d be on a bus to the mountains in Baños, Ecuador, and I’d spend the whole trip turning myself loose with that zoom.
What the Creator Combo Includes
The Creator Combo is not a marketing bundle with filler accessories. It packages the RC Pro 2 controller, three Intelligent Flight Batteries, a charging hub, and 512GB of onboard storage into a single purchase.
The RC Pro 2 runs a high-brightness screen that handles outdoor shooting without a shade or visor, and it auto-powers both the controller and the drone simultaneously. For anyone who shoots professionally, that auto-power pairing alone removes one of the small friction points that slow down setup on location.
Those three batteries shift the operational math on a full day of flying. With a 51-minute flight time per charge, three batteries in rotation means you can cover a full-day production without hunting for a power source mid-shoot. One battery charges while two are in the air.
The All-I codec also unlocks with the Creator Combo. The base kit does not include it. For professional editing workflows, the All-I codec delivers smoother timeline scrubbing and better color grading performance than the compressed alternative. If you are handing footage to an editor or cutting for broadcast, that difference is not academic.
The RC Pro 2 deserves its own article. Motorized joysticks. Thousands of nits of brightness on the display. Rotate to portrait mode by tilting the screen. Using the RC Pro 2 is the closest thing to a religious experience this hobby has to offer.
The Drone Itself
The Mavic 4 Pro carries a tri-camera system built around a 100MP 4/3-inch CMOS Hasselblad sensor on the primary wide-angle camera. The three focal lengths cover 28mm, 70mm, and 168mm equivalents. That range handles most professional shooting scenarios without swapping any hardware. Wide establishing shot, medium detail coverage, tight telephoto compression, all from the same drone in the same flight.
Video tops out at 6K at 60 frames per second in the Creator Combo configuration. Color profiles include D-Log and D-Log M for grading flexibility. The airframe weighs above 900 grams. That puts it in the C2 category under European regulations, worth knowing before you book a trip abroad.
Obstacle avoidance is onboard. Operational testing across multiple reviews describes the Mavic 4 Pro as remarkably quiet for its class. It handles strong wind conditions without the jitter and position hunting that affects lighter frames at altitude.
The compression you get from the zoom lenses on this drone will produce shots Scorsese would want to take. You’ve got the hardware. Now you just need the talent.
Who This Sale Actually Matters To
This is not an entry-level drone. A first-time buyer does not need 6K, All-I codec, or a 168mm telephoto. This is a professional tool for working cinematographers, real estate aerial teams, documentary crews, and serious hobbyists who have outgrown the Mavic 3 Pro and need the output quality to match client or editorial standards.
The 15 percent discount does not change that. It changes the entry point for people who already know they need this drone. At $3,999, the hesitation for some buyers was whether the upgrade from a previous-generation Mavic justified the cost. At $3,400, that math gets shorter. The drone is the same. The price is not.
No promo code required. No minimum purchase threshold. The $3,400 price applies directly at checkout on Amazon.
DroneXL’s Take
Let’s be straight: $600 off a $4,000 drone is not a fire sale. It is a real discount on a real purchase. The Mavic 4 Pro Creator Combo at full price was already the most capable portable cinematic drone DJI had shipped. The price drop does not make it something it wasn’t. It makes the decision shorter for people who were already leaning toward it.
The timing matters. Amazon deals on flagship DJI hardware move fast and return to full price without announcement. This is not a countdown clock meant to pressure you. It is an observation from covering this category long enough to know that prices on new DJI hardware rarely stay discounted for more than a few days when the discount is real.
The one open question is whether DJI announces anything new in this category before the end of the year. That is always a factor with any DJI hardware purchase. Nothing on the public roadmap suggests a direct successor is imminent, but DJI does not telegraph releases far ahead.
DJI does discounts. They just usually do them on mid-range and entry-level gear. This is the first time I’ve seen a discount like this on a Mavic 4 Pro. If you have been waiting for a top-shelf drone at a fair price, the moment is now.
