Hello, and welcome to DroneXL! After two and a half years and publishing more than 2,500 articles on DroneDJ, it was time for something new. So, here we are with a brand new website. What can you expect from DroneXL? Glad you asked.
Welcome to DroneXL!
DroneXL strives to bring you the latest news, reviews, and rumors in the drone industry, and we cover drone makers such as DJI, Autel Robotics, Parrot, Skydio, and others. We focus on the benefits that unmanned aircraft bring to our society and support the thousands of smaller professional operators that use drones for good. DroneXL provides a platform for drone pilots to share their stories with the general public and promote their drone businesses. Feel free to contact me directly at haye at dronexl.co if you want to be featured in our continued Spotlight Series.
Furthermore, we aim to inform the general public about drones and show them that unmanned aircraft are more than just toys. We want to emphasize the stories about how drones help find lost loved ones, keep first responders safe. How they assist in researching amazing wildlife around the world, bring medical supplies to people in need. And, push the boundaries of what is possible with relatively affordable technology.
In short, we are pro drones and we are also in favor of safe and responsible drone flying within the regulations set out by the Federal Aviation Administration. However, we will also push back when we think that new proposed rules are overly restrictive and could very well hurt the drone industry as is the case with the FAA’s NPRM for Remote ID for Drones.
The drone industry is one of the fastest-growing and rapidly developing industries of our lifetimes. It is also the safest form of modern aviation. Drones are pushing the regulatory framework in ways that were unthinkable only a few years ago. The drone industry is one of the hottest and most fascinating industries in our lives right now. And DroneXL aims to bring you these captivating stories every single day!
