DJI first introduced DJI Terra during the Airworks 2018 in Dallas, TX. Since then the drone maker has worked hard to perfect their software application. Today, DJI Terra launches a new Electricity License with optimizations made for 3D power line reconstructions.
DJI Terra launches a new Electricity License
What is DJI Terra? It is DJI’s mapping application that allows you to digitally map the world around you in 2D or 3D. It allows you to plan your mission, acquire the data with drones such as the DJI Phantom 4 RTK, map the area, and analyze the data.
Mapping an area or structure can be useful for construction purposes, infrastructure projects, an inspection of transmission towers, crash scene analysis, agricultural analysis, and filming.
DJI Terra offers different licensing plans, such as Advanced and Pro. As of today, however, DJI now also offers a special license for Electricity. Go to the official website to learn more.
