For a third time (1,2) in a matter of months does a drone disrupt a baseball game. This time it was a DJI Mavic 2 Pro that delayed the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs game for a short time as the unmanned aircraft landed on the field.

On Wednesday night, the umpires quickly cleared the field during a game between the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs when a DJI Mavic 2 Pro with a GoPro action camera mounted on top flew into the Wrigley Field and landed on the grass in deep left-center.
The drone was spotted as Willson Contreras came to bat with two outs in the bottom of the fifth and the game tied at 2. Before the DJI Mavic 2 Pro landed on the grass the umpires rushed the players into the dugouts, reports WGN9.
After a short while, the drone took off again, hovered at about 100 feet for a bit, and then flew away past the scoreboard.
After a delay of seven minutes, Contreras resumed his at-bat and grounded out to end the inning.
