DJI Air 2S video reviews on YouTube
This morning, DJI launched the new DJI Air 2S drone. Since there are no more actual in-person DJI launch events, online marketing, including well-timed leaks, has become very important to the drone maker. YouTube plays a big part in this strategy. Therefore it comes as no surprise that as of this morning at 9 am Youtube is flooded with DJI Air 2S video reviews. Here are some of the best ones.

But no one seems to have checked the sharpness vs. the M2P or P4P in video. That’s where the M2P sucked
Parker Walbeck compared the A2S and the M2P. Haven’t seen a comparison with the P4P2 yet
Yeah, no P4P/2 comparison yet. People do seem to be saying it’s definitely sharper than the Mavic 2 Pro. I’m hoping it matches with the clarity of the Phantom 4 Pro lineup before purchasing it. I’m hoping that your site can do some sort of article discussing its sharpness compared to the Mavic 2 Pro/ Phantom 4 Pro.
Do you guys have an Air2S?
How is the video compared to the Mavic 2 Pro or phantom 4 Pro? Is it sharper than the soft video of the Mavic 2 Pro?
Haven’t compared it yet but it sure seems better than the M2P. The Air S2 has 150mbps which makes quite a difference. Walbeck’s video compares the A2S and M2P.
I messaged Tom of “Tom’s tech time”. He is doing a few direct comparisons now between the P4P/M2P/Air2S and will post his video in the next few days. If you remember, he did the direct studio comparisons on the P4P and M2 and it resulted in DJI admitting they did “raw subsampling” and that’s why the video images weren’t as sharp in the M2Pro.
This comparison will be key. Direct comparisons using photography charts. Hopefully Dronexl will feature his video because it will be very telling if DJI is finally able to use the whole sensor in video (that says something about the upcoming Mavic 3 (or DJI Pro 3). From a videographer’s perspective, that’s an important video to share.
