Drones countdown Formula 1 race in Saudi Arabia
It was a very brief moment, right before the start of what turned out to be a thrilling Formula 1 race in Saudi Arabia, that a large number of drones were visible as part of a light show that counted down the last ten seconds before the start of the event.
The drones were outfitted with LED lights and fly in formation to form a circle in the sky. Inside the circle, additional drones formed the digits as the last few seconds were ticking away for the Formula 1 race in Saudi Arabia.
Over the last few years, we have seen a steep increase in the number of drone light shows around the world. Drone light shows are used as a replacement for more traditional fireworks during large outdoor events, as well as inside arenas as a spectacular addition to music concerts and shows.
