DJI Mavic 3 faces stormy conditions in The Netherlands
The DJI Mavic 3 deals very well with the stormy conditions in The Netherlands as Bertie Gregory uses the latest DJI drone to film kiteboarding legend Ruben Lenten.
DJI Mavic 3 faces stormy conditions in The Netherlands
The video was shot a little earlier this month on a very windy day in Scheveningen in The Netherlands.
National Geographic filmmaker and photographer, Bertie Gregory contacted professional kiteboarder and mega-loop inventor, Ruben Lenten to capture some awesome aerial footage.
In case you're wondering how windy the conditions were that day, keep in mind that Ruben typically doesn't go out on the water in anything less than 30 knots.
Apart from the long battery life that Bertie praises in the video, perhaps the most important aspect is how stable the aerial footage is from the DJI Mavic 3 in such strong winds.
Not too long ago, DC Rainmaker tested out the DJI Mavic 3 in similarly stormy conditions. He had the following to say about the drone in his extreme wind test:
Here's a detailed look at the DJI Mavic 3, and how it handles high wind conditions, including 60KPH+ gusting winds, in a variety of modes and tracking scenarios. Oh, and all over water during a storm.
The video is short and sweet. Check it out below.
Let us know in the comments below what you think of the new DJI Mavic 3 drone and its ability to withstand strong winds while still recording very stable aerial footage.
