The firmware updates for both DJI drones fix ‘some bugs’, leaving drone pilots guessing what exactly might have been improved. We reached out to DJI for more information and will share that here if and when we hear back from the drone maker.

On the DJI forums, some folks reported updating their drones without any issues or noticeable changes to the way the aircraft flies.

Wow, another “Fixed some bugs” again without any further information. Well done DJI, said MySky.

  1. Maybe they fixed the rear sensor which did not work at all for me. Backed right up into a tree in broad daylight. I was not even flying fast. Been without the drone since 12/31/21.

  2. I’m leary of doing the update. DJI screwed over alot of customers not making their new app compatible with Android 12 users.

    • My phone just updated this past weekend, now I wasn’t able to use it for work on Monday. I had to borrow a used iPhone a just to download the app on it so I could fly again. Anyone know when when they will be fixing this issue with Android users?
