It’s back! The most important drone industry event, formerly known as the FAA UAS Symposium, is now called the FAA Drone Symposium. A much better name in my opinion, btw.

This year the FAA Drone Symposium “ARISE” will take place on April 28th, in Orlando, Florida.

FAA Drone Symposium

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had the following to say about the upcoming event in an email that went out earlier today.

The 2022 FAA Drone Symposium focuses on commercial operations, whether at home or abroad. A great deal has happened or soon will: the BVLOS ARC will soon issue its report, the manufacturing deadline for Remote Identification is approaching, standards and regulatory bodies are working to promote global harmonization, and much more.

Formerly the FAA UAS Symposium, this collaborative event brings together industry and key FAA personnel to share best practices and lessons learned from operations, discuss challenges, and chart the course for the future of drone integration.

Arise and join the discussion on April 28 in Orlando, FL.
