DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise and Thermal show up in Chinese database

Earlier today, DealsDrone shared the following images from the Chinese Commodity Information Service that seems to confirm that we can look forward to seeing the Enterprise and DJI Mavic 3 Thermal drones come to the market shortly.

The DJI Mavic 3 was introduced in the fall of 2021. The flagship DJI drone was released just in time for the crucial fourth quarter shopping season but lacked many of the promised features. It took the world’s largest drone maker months and many firmware updates to deliver all the capabilities and fix GPS connectivity issues.

Now with all that sorted out, the time seems right for DJI to introduce two special versions of the DJI Mavic 3 that are focused on commercial and enterprise use.

The drone maker apparently registered the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise and DJI Mavic 3 Thermal with the Chinese Commodity Information Service.

In the past, enterprise versions of the DJI Mavic 2 allowed for the attachment of a loudspeaker, spotlight, and LED beacon light to the top of the drone.

We expect both the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise and DJI Mavic 3 Thermal to allow for similar attachments to be mounted to the unmanned aircraft.

The DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise will likely come with the same camera as the DJI Mavic 3. The DJI Mavic 3 Thermal will likely have a camera similar to the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced or better.
