Reuters reported that Taiwan had fired warning shots at a Chinese drone that flew close to an offshore island.
According to a military spokeswoman, the military of Taiwan fired warning shots at a Chinese drone on Tuesday after the drone flew close to an islet owned by Taiwan that is located near the coast of China.
After the bullets were fired, the drone reportedly made its way back to China. For the very first time in this kind of incident, warning shots were fired.
Chinese drone spying?
The drone incident comes shortly after we reported on a Chinese civilian drone entering the Taiwanese airspace.
