DJI Mavic 3 Classic shows up in FCC filings and leaked photos
This weekend, the DJI Mavic 3 Classic showed up in the FCC filings and in leaked photos that were shared online by DealsDrone (keep 'em coming!).
Right before we enter the holiday shopping season, the DJI Mavic 3 Classic appears in the FCC filings. Typically, this is a good indication that we can expect the ‘new' DJI drone to make its way to the market within the next few weeks.
The DJI Mavic 3 Classic is similar to the DJI Mavic 3 that was released last November, however, instead of featuring a dual camera setup, the DJI Mavic 3 Classic will only have one camera. The telelens will be ditched in favor of just the main camera, with likely similar specs as the main camera on the DJI Mavic 3.

Expect the performance of the DJI Mavic 3 Classic in terms of flight time, range, speed, etc., to be very similar, if not the same as the DJI Mavic 3.
The exact specs of the DJI Mavic 3 Classic are not yet confirmed, but we expect that this information will surface in the next few days or weeks, so stay tuned.
In his tweet, DealsDrone says that the DJI Mavic 3 Classic will be released before the end of October and will also be available with the DJI RC.
We expect the price of the DJI Mavic 3 Classic to be around the $1,500 mark. Probably slightly above, if recent DJI pricing of drones is any indication.

I’m part of the Best Buy tech insiders group. I was just offered this drone for a review and I can reveal that the specs, though not exhaustive, are as follows:
1. 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad Camera
2. 5.1K HD Video : Up to 5.1K 50/fps, with 10 bit D-Log and HLG color profile for professional post editing
3. 46-Min Max Flight Time : Almost double the shooting time compared to Mavic 2 pro, more time to create and less time worrying about flight time
4. Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing : With APAS 5.0, Mavic 3 Classic continually senses objects in all directions and bypasses them quickly and smoothly
5. 15km HD Video Transmission : Fly farther and more stably with DJI O3+ Transmission, transmitting a 1080p/60fps live feed
6. Advanced RTH : Updated auto-return function enables Mavic 3 Classic to automatically determine the optimal route back to its home point and execute it quickly
